Keith A. Welsh, LCSW
Organizational Risk Advisor
Organizations face increasing challenges related to leadership decision-making, workplace culture, employee well-being, organizational resilience, and human performance. Keith A. Welsh brings a unique perspective to these challenges through a career that spans executive leadership, behavioral health, higher education, and organizational consulting.
Keith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist, federal healthcare executive, graduate social work professor, and former U.S. Army officer. Over the course of more than two decades, he has worked at the intersection of human behavior, leadership, organizational effectiveness, and risk management.
In his federal executive role, Keith has led large-scale workforce, education, and organizational initiatives supporting one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States. His experience includes executive leadership, workforce development, organizational assessment, policy implementation, strategic planning, accreditation oversight, and high-reliability organizational transformation.
As a psychotherapist and behavioral health professional, Keith has spent thousands of hours helping individuals understand the factors that influence human behavior, decision-making, resilience, performance under stress, and recovery following adversity. This perspective provides organizations with valuable insight into the human factors that often contribute to operational failures, leadership challenges, workplace conflict, employee disengagement, and organizational risk.
Keith’s work as a graduate educator further strengthens his ability to translate complex behavioral and organizational concepts into practical strategies that leaders can implement within their organizations.
Through Welsh Executive Risk Advisory, Keith helps organizations identify, understand, and mitigate risks associated with leadership, workforce dynamics, organizational culture, critical incidents, employee well-being, and human performance. His approach combines executive experience, behavioral science, organizational leadership, and practical risk management to help organizations strengthen resilience and improve outcomes.
